Just Passing Through

I take I-80 every morning on my way to work. Inevitably running ten minutes late, just like clockwork. And on zero degree days I pretend that I am on a spectacular road trip to California and I laugh at the poor Nebraskans who have to live with the snow and freezing cold temperatures - grateful to just be passing through.
